Bio:
     Born to a perfectly normal, rich, couple on Nomie Island, Orpheus had a nearly perfect life. Anything and everything he could have ever wanted was right at his fingertips. He never had to work for a thing because it was always given to him if he asked. So naturally when someone first told him “No”, things did not go over so well. No one had ever dared utter that strangely foreign word to Orpheus before and once the shock of being denied something wore off, he decided if they weren’t going to give it to him he’d have to get it himself. That’s where a lot of his trouble started. The rush of taking something for himself was absolutely amazing. And not being caught left such a giddy feeling in his heart; thus, Orpheus continued to take things he wanted that would not just be given to him. This newfound hobby definitely made him feel alive and broke up the monotony of his posh and spoiled lifestyle. Of course he never started stealing anything major, just small things he knew people wouldn’t notice were gone until they needed it. But things escalated from that point and in time Orpheus would begin taking bigger or more worthwhile items that appealed to him.

At the age of tweleve his new hobby was pulled into the light and it shocked his parents something chronic. In order to correct him, his parents put him into a figurative cage. Orpheus was monitored twenty-four-seven and kept busy with school, various lessons (dance/music/horseback riding); hoping that would keep the boy’s mind off stealing and being a trouble starting hoodlum. But all that pushed Orpheus to the edge and he ran away from home at the age of thirteen, happily throwing away all those riches to live a life filled with fun and excitement wherever his feet decided to take him.

Today Orpheus has made his new home in the City of Thieves on Serseri Island and can always be found going back there in the end. But he does travel to other islands to “acquire” new goodies.

Personality:
    While his appearance leads some to believe he’s mysterious, the truth of the matter is: Orpheus is a rather clueless guy that flies by the seat of his pants most days. Going from a spoiled brat to a hoodlum living in the City of Thieves isn’t exactly the easiest of transitions. Even after all these years Orpheus is still learning and always finding out the hard way that some of his plans (or ideas) aren’t exactly the brightest. More often than not, it gets under his skin when he botches something because of a stupid error on his part. It’s even worse if someone else is the witness to it but he tries to laugh it off and play it cool, like he planned for that to happen or pretends it isn’t a big deal. But later he’ll definitely give himself the biggest mental chewing-out for being so stupid.

During the times he isn’t out thieving and blundering things up, Orpheus is rather kind (unless you got on his bad side somehow—he’s pretty unforgiving), boisterous, and loves to have a good time. He’s also a social butterfly through and through. His social behavior isn’t always for the right reasons, however. People have stories to tell and information that could possibly lead to something insanely valuable. Though what may be valuable to some won’t always be interesting to Orpheus. He’s known for taking strange objects that couldn’t really be sold or bartered well. Some of these items are taken for his own personal collection rather than to obtain money.

While he knows theft is wrong on multiple levels, Orpheus really only does it for the rush and excitement. He also finds it fun to do daredevlish stunts and push the envelope, as he is rather agile and flexible. So it isn’t uncommon to find him using wires to tightrope walk on, or even jump from one rooftop to another even if he isn’t 100% positive he’ll even make it.

Fun Facts:
    - Has a pet snake named Citrine.

    - Has an odd love for teakettles.

    - Keeps a teakettle hooked to his belt and uses it very much like a wallet.

    - Scars are all over his body from bad judgment calls over the years and the handful of times others have inflicted them.

    - Orpheus doesn’t always retaliate when attacked.

    - Suffers from pediophobia a.k.a. a fear of dolls.
         He is painfully aware of how strange his fear is, which is why he’s utterly embarrassed by it (he will not go near any
         place that has a doll—especially if he can see it while approaching). The more human-like the doll is, the worse it is for
         Orpheus. A toy should not look that human or lifelike. It’s just plain CREEPY!

    - Give him a doll as a gift or bring one near him and...Revenge is imminent.
